LRC49

The original LRC58 is a relatively simple and fuel-efficient powerboat capable of crossing oceans and navigating inland waterways. The LRC58 has crossed oceans, including a west-to-east passage from NZ to Panama and beyond.

Over the years since the launch of the 58, there has been a fair bit of interest in a smaller, sub-15-meter version of the concept that would better fit many people’s cruising goals.

Introducing the Long Range Cruiser 49 by Artnautica Yacht Design!

Designing a boat to this level of detail is a complex and time-consuming process, so to get it right the first time, a questionnaire was sent to interested parties on what features and capabilities the boat should have.

Thank you to all who participated! Here one can find the questionnaire results.

The LRC49 will be as close to a production boat as possible. This means the aluminum envelope will be fixed, only a couple of interior layout options will be available, and all systems come pre-engineered to a yard standard. There will be a list of optional, pre-engineered upgrades that can be chosen, such as a stabilizer, air conditioning, stern anchor, etc.

To achieve this, Artnautica has partnered with JBS Yachting in the Netherlands.

There will be two variants: a twin-shaft, fixed-pitch propeller version, and a single-shaft version with a CP propeller.

The two interior options include an owner’s version with a twin cabin and a family version with two cabins, the smaller of which has twin bunks for flexibility.
