LRC65-03 build

2025, Harlingen (NL) — LRC65-03 build.

Artnautica, on behalf of our client, sent out a bid package to a couple of yards in May. The bid package requested an offer for a slightly modified LRC65, most notably with an extended roof to carry more solar. We carefully evaluated the quotes that were sent in.

Dennis, our designer, recently visited the Netherlands, and together with our client, we visited a few of the companies involved. The first result is that Aluboot has been selected to build the hull (phase 1), which will start in October.

Phase 2 comprises constructing part of the interior, including the guest cabin, and installing most of the systems, such as the W- and E-package, stabilising fins, the main engine, and the thrusters. We now foresee a bow thruster and two electric pods at the transom that, in theory, enable dynamic positioning (DP).

Phase 3 involves finalizing systems like the navigational suite and the head, shower, and sauna, and will be carried out under the owner's project management.
